ADCC Suisse Open 2025 (Zürich)

The ADCC Suisse Open 2025 will take place on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Mehrzweckhalle in Wallisellen, Switzerland. This marks the first-ever official ADCC event in Switzerland, bringing the prestigious ADCC ruleset to the heart of the country’s grappling scene.

If you also want to compete in the gi, there is the SBJJNF Zürich Summer Open on Saturday as well! BJJ Lab Zürich and many other gyms representing BJJ in Zürich will bring athletes to both events.

This event is open to athletes of all ages and experience levels, with divisions for kids, juveniles, adults, and masters, following the official ADCC rules and weight classes. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to professional athletes, with clear criteria set for each division.

The tournament will feature a full day of No-Gi submission grappling, with weigh-ins available on Saturday and Sunday. Matches will follow the ADCC format, which emphasizes positional dominance, takedowns, and submission finishes. Absolute divisions will be available for professional medalists after their main brackets are completed.

The venue opens at 08:00, with matches starting at 09:00. Spectators are welcome, and the event will also be streamed live for fans unable to attend in person.

This is a major milestone for grappling in Switzerland and a rare chance for athletes to compete under ADCC rules without leaving the country. Expect a high level of competition and a unique atmosphere as many competitors experience ADCC format for the first time.
