In 2025, the IBJJF European Jiu-Jitsu Championship returns to its beloved home in Lisbon. Mark your calendars for January 17th to January 25th, as the event will be held at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Odivelas in Odivelas. The organizers have noted that if the number of registered athletes surpasses their capacity, the competition might begin on January 17th and 18th, extending the event to nine days instead of the usual seven.
From Switzerland the BJJ Lab will represent, bringing athletes representing both BJJ in Zürich Oerlikon and BJJ in Wädenswil. Hopefully other Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gyms from Zurich will join as well and together we can bring some medals back home to Switzerland and Zürich.
