Hey there! Ready for some exciting news? The Grappling Industries tournament is coming to Geneva, Switzerland, on August 31 and September 1, 2024. It’s going to be at the Gamma Gym Ecole de l, Etang. You’ll want to be there bright and early because the doors open at 7:30 AM and the event kicks off at 9 AM.This isn’t just any tournament. Grappling Industries does things a bit differently with a Round Robin format. That means if you sign up and your division has up to 5 competitors, you get to have at least 4 matches. And if you’re feeling super adventurous and compete in both Gi and NoGi, you could end up with over 8 fights! This is a fantastic way to meet and compete against a bunch of different people.

Now, make sure you register before the deadlines to get the best deal. Early birds pay €70 if they register before August 17, and if you’re a bit late to the party, it’s €90 by August 27. Watching as a spectator? That’s just €10 at the door.

But remember, this tournament is all about pre-registration. No signing up at the last minute or at the door. Once you’re registered, keep an eye on the competitor lists online. They update live during the registration process.

If you find yourself alone in your division after registration closes, you’ve got until the next day at 5 PM to make changes. You might decide to move up a division or cancel for a full credit if you prefer.

The event organizers are super organized. They’ve got medals for the winners, professional medics on hand just in case, and even warm-up mats for competitors. And they’re all about making sure teams get recognized too, with special awards for the best overall teams in both adult and kids & teens categories.
