April 19 - April 20
Mark your calendars for April 19 & 20, 2025, because Grappling Industries is bringing its exciting tournament to Geneva, Switzerland again! This event will be held at Gamma Gym Ecole de l’Etang, starting bright and early with doors opening at 7:30 am, and the first matches kicking off at 9:00 am.
There will be BJJ competitors from all around Switzerland showing up, including from many far away cities like Zurich. These tournaments are a great way to get a lot of competition experience in a single day.
What Makes This Tournament Special?
Grappling Industries is known for its Round Robin format, which guarantees each competitor several matches. If you’re competing in both Gi and NoGi divisions, you could get up to 8 matches! This gives you a great chance to gain experience by competing against different opponents. Plus, the tournament uses traditional points but skips advantages, making it straightforward and fair.
Important Dates and Costs
- Early Bird Registration (before March 15): €55
- Normal Registration (before April 5): €75
- Late Registration (before April 15): €95
- Additional Division: €20
- Spectators: €10 at the event

Preparing for the Event
Competitors can check live updates on the registration list, making sure all details are correct before the brackets are finalized. If you need to change divisions, you have until 5 PM the day after registration closes to make adjustments.
On the Day of the Tournament
Weigh-ins will happen on the day of the event, and you only need to weigh in once, even if you’re competing in multiple divisions. Make sure you weigh in at least 60 minutes before your division starts to avoid disqualification.
The event will have large TV scoreboards showing the match schedule, so you’ll know exactly when you’re up next. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each division, and team standings will be updated live, with special awards for the best overall academies.
